Food is a basic human need, and a healthy diet is crucial for our health and wellbeing.

Over the past few decades, knowledge surrounding the rise in temperatures and the subsequent effects on the climate has become the main driving force behind sustainable business practices.

Water is a finite resource, meaning that it cannot be readily replaced by natural means at a pace quick enough to keep up with consumption.

Currently, there are 2 110 primary members registered for the SIZA Social module, whereas 1 304 primary members are also registered for SIZA Environmental, and 76 members registered for SIZA Digital Recordkeeping — adding up to a total of 3 490 primary registrations.

The SIZA programme has continued to strive toward providing a risk-assured system for both buyers and producers across the value chain.

Grievances occur within any business and, if not resolved, may result in conflict, have a detrimental effect on production efficiencies, raise scandals on social media, and regularly result in findings during social (ethical) audits.

Oudits moet tydens piek produksie periodes plaasvind aangesien dit ‘n minimum vereiste is om te verseker dat markte die ouditverslag se geldigheid aanvaar.

Alhoewel SIZA daarop gefokus is om duplisering in oudits vir Suid-Afrikaanse produsente te vermy, benodig produsente steeds  drie pilare vir volhoubaarheidsoudits wat insluit:  etiese-, omgewings-, en voedselveiligheidsoudits.

Tydens elke siekteverlofsiklus is die werknemer geregtig op betaalde siekteverlof gelykstaande aan die aantal dae wat die agri-werker normaalweg gedurende ‘n tydperk van ses weke sou werk.
