As part of SIZA’s ongoing commitment to promote continuous improvement in the agricultural sector, our team will be on the ground across South Africa in the coming months, conducting site visits and hosting valuable training sessions. These in-person engagements are a key component of the SIZA compliance programme and support the Audit Frequency Matrix by ensuring ethical practices are upheld between audit cycles. From now until the end of September 2025, SIZA has scheduled 42 social between-audit monitoring visits in the Western Cape, Eastern Cape, and Northern Cape, alongside 50 SIZA CARES visits across three provinces. These visits are a compliance measure and a meaningful opportunity for suppliers to engage directly with the SIZA team. In addition, a full calendar of training sessions from June to September 2025 is available to all SIZA members. These sessions are designed to provide hands-on support in implementing both the Social and Environmental Standards, enhancing compliance, and fostering best practices in ethical and sustainable farming.
