The SIZATrack360 programme, previously known as the Digital Recordkeeping Programme, is a cost-effective monitoring programme available on the MySIZA platform to all agricultural sectors and commodities, both within South Africa and globally. Its primary aim is to assist management in understanding and adapting to their specific farm- and packhouse-related environmental context, allowing them to evaluate the effectiveness of current and newly implemented management practices on the pathway towards environmental sustainability.
This programme enables suppliers to capture crucial data at the production and packing/processing level, including product packed, packing/orchard waste, water abstraction, fuel usage, electricity usage, crop nutrition, crop protection, and waste production. For packing and processing facilities, it also captures data on the weight of product packed/processed, wastewater disposal, post-harvest treatment, and refrigerants.
A top priority for buyers is traceability, credibility, and visibility. The MySIZA platform, equipped to share vital information between suppliers, importers, retailers, and recognised third-party audit firms, includes the SIZATrack360 Programme, aiding in further traceability, digital functionality, and engagement. This digital recordkeeping programme is available to all agricultural sectors, both in South Africa and globally, and assists in monitoring and assessing risks in business management practices within the supply chain.
