Due to the nature of the COVID-19 pandemic, everyone needs to manage schedules differently. SIZA is therefore cancelling the upcoming Social auditor training that would have taken place on 13 – 15 May 2020 in the Western Cape. Auditors and audit companies should however continue to avail themselves on the 5th, 6th and 7th of August for auditor training.
As a further control measure, SIZA is in the process of planning to conduct online virtual training to all auditors, reviewers, schedulers and audit staff. These plans will be communicated to all companies once finalised and approved. The hope is to allow for a more cost- and time-effective approach for all and continue with the necessary engagement needed to ensure continuous learning and calibration amongst all auditors and companies. We trust that we will be able to rely on your support during this process.
The SIZA Social Audit Reference Group (ARG) meetings will continue on the following dates:
- 26 May 2020
- 18 August 2020
- 10 November 2020
If needed, SIZA will arrange for the meetings to be held online.
