One of the key features of MySIZA is the visibility link system, which connects suppliers to buyers across the supply chain. These links enable buyers, exporters, and retailers to view the compliance status of their suppliers, ensuring transparency and trust throughout the agricultural sector.
When a farm, packhouse, or other agricultural business grants visibility, their compliance information, such as audit reports, SAQ results, and subscription details, becomes available to the approved requesting party. This allows buyers to confirm that the businesses they work with are meeting the required social and environmental compliance requirements. Separate visibility can also be granted on the information gathered in the SIZATrack360 digital recordkeeping programme, allowing visibility on the inputs and outputs captured in the programme as well as carbon footprint information.
The process is simple: an exporter, importer, or buyer sends a visibility request via MySIZA directly to the farm or packhouse, which the supplier can either approve or decline. Once approved, the link remains active, helping to streamline reporting, avoid duplication, and strengthen compliance across the chain. Because the data always remains in the supplier’s hands, links can be revoked at any time to remove visibility if they no longer supply to a specific market.
By maintaining accurate visibility links, suppliers not only demonstrate accountability but also support a more efficient, credible, and responsible agricultural industry throughout the supply chain.
