SIZA are Back to Work At Our Office
After the storm in April 2024 blew the roof off our SIZA office following a lot of rain damaging the office interior, our team had to adapt quickly and work from a temporary location for a short while. But now, we’re thrilled to be back in our beautifully renovated space! The new office is bright and welcoming, inspiring collaboration and creativity. It feels great to be together again under one roof—this time, with a roof that stayed even with the stormy, windy and rainy weather we had over the last two weeks! Here’s to new beginnings and a stronger team spirit as we settle into our refreshed workspace!
Henrico Harris, Sustainability Manager
We are happy to introduce Henrico Harris as a new member of the SIZA team, where he will be serving as the Sustainability Manager with a focus on environmental compliance. Henrico brings a wealth of knowledge, having spent the past four years specialising in organic and sustainability agriculture auditing. His expertise is further bolstered by a postgraduate qualification in Environmental Management. Henrico’s dedication to conserving ecosystems and promoting sustainable farming reflects his deep-rooted commitment to fostering environmentally conscious agricultural systems. His hands-on approach and extensive experience give him a nuanced understanding of the industry’s complexities. Henrico’s enthusiasm for sustainable agriculture is professional and personal, as evidenced by his love for the outdoors. We are confident that Henrico’s skills and passion will drive SIZA’s sustainability team to even greater success.

Michaela Schirnig, Communications Officer
We are happy to welcome Michaela to the SIZA team. Michaela recently joined us and is the creative force behind our social media posts, communication initiatives, capacity-building webinars and live training. With qualifications and a strong background in technology and information systems, combined with a creative flair for layout and a passion for effective communication, Michaela is dedicated to taking SIZA’s communication to the next level. She ensures that our digital communication, newsletters, and other engagement platforms are not only appropriate but also easily understandable for SIZA members. As a determined problem solver with a creative approach to overcoming challenges, Michaela is poised to make a significant impact.
