An Update on the SIZA Subscription Fees for 2026/27

  • An Update on the SIZA Subscription Fees for 2026/27

As we enter a new financial year, we would like to thank all our subscribers and partners for their continued support of SIZA and our shared commitment to responsible and sustainable agricultural compliance practices in South Africa.

SIZA’s financial period runs from April 1st to March 31st each year. Like many organisations, the SIZA Board reviews the subscription fees annually to ensure that we can continue delivering credible, high-quality services while covering operational costs. Over the past three years, we have limited fee increases to an average of 3%. However, due to rising costs, this year’s adjustment reflects an average increase of 5%.

SIZA remains committed to providing value to our subscribers. While the Social and Environmental Modules operate as separate standards, we continue to offer a simplified approach: subscribers with an active Social Module profile pay a flat fee to add the Environmental Module and vice versa.

In addition, SIZA offers a convenient, user-paid service to capture Self-Assessment Questionnaire (SAQ) and audit information on the Sedex platform. This service helps suppliers avoid the need to build internal capacity or incur higher external costs by paying Sedex directly for visibility. Please note that Sedex and GLOBALG.A.P. fees are separate from SIZA subscription fees, and SIZA does not have control over these charges or any increases implemented by these organisations. We continue to negotiate special fees for our subscribers, which are still lower than a direct subscription on the Sedex platform and do not include the admin burden of duplicating your SAQs and audits. These visibility-related fees are often linked to market requirements and help reduce duplication across audits and visibility platforms.

For businesses operating across multiple sites, SIZA offers a multisite option that is more cost-effective than registering each site or packhouse individually.

We also continue to offer the SIZATrack360 programme as an accessible option, providing an incredible solution for monitoring compliance with environmental practices. The programme is available at a flat fee, regardless of how many sites or years of data you capture, to cover the platform licensing. Using SIZATrack360 to capture production inputs and, optionally, conduct a carbon footprint calculation ensures your carbon footprint complies with market requirements and is easily shared throughout the supply chain.

Our subscription pricing model is designed to be flexible, based on your selected modules and the level of market visibility you require. If you are unsure which option best suits your needs, we encourage you to contact the SIZA office. Choosing the correct subscription level is important, as it can influence the structure and duration of your third-party audit, as well as the visibility to markets on partner platforms such as Sedex.

All SIZA subscriptions include a range of additional benefits and a toolkit at no extra cost, including webinars, in-person training events, practical guidelines, and access to free templates and videos on the MySIZA platform. Our responsive support team is also always available during business hours to assist you with any queries.
