SIZA MANAGEMENT AND OPERATING STRUCTURE

The SIZA Board is a collection of individuals who have extensive knowledge of the South African Agricultural industry and value chain with experience and skills relating to strategic management and oversight, labour legislation and environmental conservation.  Board members should have a balanced view, a passion and interest towards the vision and mission of the organisation as the custodian of ethical labour and environmental best practice and compliance within the South African agricultural context.

The composition of the SIZA board is as follows:

1 x Independent Chair.

1 x Financial Director responsible for overseeing the execution of the SIZA financial policies aligned with good corporate governance.

2 x Commercial Producers represented nationally.

1x Fruit South Africa representative.

1x Emerging Producer represented nationally.

2x Trade persons (Local/International buyers).

1x DALRRD/Labour/Civil society/FIVCRT representative.

Co-opted due to expertise/knowledge.

1x Environmental specialist /1x Ethical Trade Specialist.
